Tile and Stone

Tile can be used in kitchens, baths, backsplashes, showers, decks, and just about anywhere else in your home.  No other flooring can match the durability, value and timeless look of tile and natural stone. Tiling is an environmentally safe, natural choice for flooring. Tile costs a bit more up front, but it lasts much longer than most other flooring materials, so it is a very efficient use of money and materials.

Ceramic and Porcelain Tiles

Although quietly beautiful, ceramic and porcelain tiles are deceptively tough. Tile is extremely scratch resistant, temperature tolerant and stain resistant. Qualities you'll be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.  Tiles are also a cinch to clean; usually just a little light wiping or damp-mopping does the trick.

New materials like glass, tumbled stone, and metal tiles are remaking the way that people look the way tile can fit into the look in your home.  Instead of a simple, square pattern, consider adding a border or accent tiles to your design in a complementary color and material.

Natural Stone

Natural stone comes in a variety of materials and looks.  Granite, marble, travertine, limestone, and slate are the most common natural stone tiles.  Within each of these materials, there are lots of choices; granite alone has 40 or more different "styles" ranging from Galaxy Black to Kashmir White.  In addition, you can get polished, honed, or tumbled versions of many of these materials.

Radiant Heat

If you're afraid your tile floor will be too cold, consider adding radiant heat under your installation.  This energy-efficient heating method gently warms your floor and keeps the tile very comfortable.  Ask us today about the different radiant heat options for your tile floor.
